This Historic 12th Century cottage originally part of the Benedictine Priory is hidden away from the road in an enclosed old-fashioned walled garden, shared with the main house. There is also a separate courtyard with garden furniture and Private Access to St George’s Church walled Garden.

NB – The church bells chime every four hours and the clock every hour!!!

Adjacent to the property is one reserved private car parking space in an open secured garage.

The front door opens into the sitting-room with oak beams, window seat and a Victorian Log Burner in the open fire place.

The separate farmhouse kitchen has an large fireplace (Not in Use), wooden flooring and oak beams. There is a wide stairway leading to the two bedrooms and a bathroom off the landing.

Green and Eco ethics have been followed for many years.

The Old Priory Cottage should appeal to guests who enjoy staying in National Trust Cottages or Landmark Trust properties.

*The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 guest.

It is not suitable for young children or pets as there is a resident dog.

Additional B&B accommodation in the main house may be available on request.

Kitchen with – Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Toaster and Kenwood Mixer.
Washing Machine – Situated in the adjoining outhouse.
Log Burner – Logs available at cost (or if preferred, supply your own).
Gas Central Heating – Throughout with Electric Immersion heater.
Adjacent to the cottage is a outhouse with WC.
TV & Radio.
CD & DVD player.
Bedroom 1: Twin with adjoining bathroom with Bath, Wash Basin and WC.
Bedroom 2: Double/Twin room with En-suite with Shower, Wash Basin and WC
Bed linen and towels provided.

November – Easter, minimum of 3 nights. weekly from £750 dependent on number of guests (Prices are exclusive of Gas and Electric).

Summer Rates
